CommentsDevious CommentsI disagree, by pointing out what you thought was wrong, the artist can take into consideration what she might not have noticed and apply it to a future drawing. Sure, It's more helpful to tell someone how to fix something, but to recognize something that the artist may have not is VERY helpful as well from my experience. And believe me, non-artists can see that a drawing looks wrong without knowing the solution. They see the same things in reality that we have, so by nature, they can realize what looks logical. Applying it is a different challenge, however.
This part in particular is what was the most informative during your critique. "I also think you made the suit a little too skin-tight There should be some folds somewhere. To me, it looks like the suit is part of her body." -- "....great sucking things" Blog plug!: [link] |
As you said, her hand is pretty awkward. I mean, her arm is find, it's jut that her thumb is really mangled.
The ball on her tail should be properly inked as well, as it doesn't have a black outline.
Her breasts are also a little weird. I also think you made the suit a little too skin-tight There should be some folds somewhere. To me, it looks like the suit is part of her body.
I really like her boots though, and her expression.
Keep it up!
